The inside of both shoes is clean, but since I purchased them, there has been a tape mark on the heel of the left shoe from the previous owner's insole. I have cleaned the tape mark. While not perfect, I believe it looks much better now. There are no tears. The surface leather is whiskey-colored, so there are fine scuffs, minor darkening, and definite wrinkles. However, I believe these can be considered part of the character. I had steel toe taps installed on the soles myself. Although they were installed, I haven't worn them, so the steel taps are new. Added bonus: A Collonil shoe tree (size M) is also included. I believe this alone could be sold separately, but it's a special addition!
